What is ANANAS?
Ananas is a non-profit foundation committed to promoting peace and resisting hatred through technology. We
are building an interactive platform that modeled the ideological
ontology, providing an easy-to-use tool that can be used to better
understand key texts. Our
platform creates an authoritative resource where communities can come
together and our goal for the future is to make accurate digital text
accessible to everyone. We do this because the information age threatens to fall into the misinformation era. Fake news and alternative facts seem more popular than peace and truth. A new era of understanding is needed.
How does Ananas work?
The
community is filled with diverse cultures and communities, each having a
unique way of looking at the world, of how things work and should be. While this may enrich the culture, modern times have pointed out these differences can also lead to conflict. At
Ananas we build a platform to promote an understanding of your own
community or others and we believe that the best way to understand
others is to just talk to them. Although you may start with a very different world view, if you find
the same language and perspective, you can usually gain a better
understanding of their views than reading something that is lacking in
